Enjoy a free drink and a snack, have fun, and work with a volunteer to repair your broken household item!
Most items are welcome, but we specialize in mendable clothing, lamps, small appliances, electronic devices that need button batteries, computers and other electronics, bikes, toys, and dull blades. If your item needs a part, save time and bring the new part with you. Learn more.
The Repair Cafe is an all-volunteer project, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Framingham with support from Transition Framingham
I’ve volunteered for this session, and since my Apple Watch chose this week to break open, I’ll will be bringing it along with a new battery and any other parts anyone can recommend like seals, special tools etc.
I’ll bet some of the electronics repair folks will be interested in helping with this one. Maybe you can let them know it’s coming. Meantime I’m watching the appropriate videos.
