Transition Framingham and the Edwards Church Green Team invite you to join us in for a book discussion of Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer, available at the Framingham Public Library in print (waiting list) or as an audiobook. If you would like to support a local, black-owned bookstore you can email Doug Rich from the store “Susie’s Stories” and he will email you an invoice, payable online, and he can then order the book for you. Dr. Kimmerer has a unique perspective on our relationships with plants and other fellow beings, as a member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation and a professor of plant ecology at SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. Join us for an interactive book discussion on February 24, whether you are one chapter into the book or have now read it several times! Email Mary Memmott for more information.
